I was invited for food tasting last week at Punjab Grill and I liked the overall vibe at the place and the food of course.

Below were the dishes which were already decided for bloggers table.-

STARTERS

Tandoori Sal, Chaap Tajdar, Murgh Tikka PG, Paneer Tikka Multani, Dahi kebab, Bharwan Mushroom

MAINS

Dal Punjab Grill, Murgh Makhanwala, Meat Punjab Grill, Murgh Biryani

DESSERT

Litchi ki Tehri and Chocolate Stuffed Gulab Jamun

The Tandoori Sal had nicely cooked fresh salmon fish marinated with mild spices  and grilled to perfection. Chaap Tajdar was tandoor grilled mutton chaap marinated with spicy masala and those were cooked nicely like the meat was falling off the bone. Murgh tikka was again a nice appetizer with perfection of taste and texture. Dahi kebab were creamy and soft with taste of tang and creaminess of hung curd and spices. Bharwan mushroom are again a must try from the menu it was rich flooded with dryfruit bites.

Dal Punjab Grill, Murgh Makhanwala, Meat Punjab Grill, Murgh Biryani were the choices in mains. Out of which Murgh makhanwala did not impress me much but the Dal Punjab Grill which is their speciality and the meat Punjab grill which was basically mutton cooked in tomato based thin gravy with pepper hint and spice mix were pretty good.

Litchi ki Tehri and Chocolate Stuffed Gulab Jamun were show stoppers of the night. Where the Litchi ki Tehri was rich rabdi with litchi served cool and gulab jamun was warm and stuffed with chocolate sauce. Some innovative kind of desserts and they were good.

Overall good experience with good Punjabi food and service.

Final Verdict –
