Menchie’s a well known frozen yougurt outlet from California.
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt is a frozen yogurt chain company founded in 2010 by Danna and Adam Caldwell and is based in the California area. Menchie’s offers self-serve frozen yogurt with different choices of yogurt flavors and toppings. Menchie’s has over 236 locations and can be found in the US, Canada, Japan and Australia.
Here in Pune they already have one outlet recently opened at Koregaon Park in Lane 6. One more newbie is now in town roaring at BHS (Balewadi High Street). Both the franchises owned by Avinash Dolwani.
Recently on social media site I won compition which was posted by Menchies. And got beautiful prize and that is to join the inauguration of Menchie’s at BHS.
And so I was there on 31st Jan 2016 at mentioned time 4 pm.

Menchie’s offers yogurt and various toppings to be self-served. Menchie’s offers regular, nonfat, low-carb, no added sugar, gluten-free, vegan and dairy free yogurts that are available in 10 to 16 flavors in a store at a time. The flavors in a store at a time are rotated from over 100 flavors. The topping selection is from a source of roughly 70 toppings that include types of fresh fruit, candy, and chocolate. Both toppings and flavors vary during each season.
All of Menchie’s pricing is measured in the weight of the yogurt and toppings.
Pull the knob, take out the frozen yogurt (U can mix it up with various flavours too). Add toppings as per personal choice over various varieties available at table, weigh it and pay per weight.
So new concept, attractive and easy.
And its fun as you get to prepare your own FroYo. And nobody stopping you top it with loaded chocolate, fruits, dryfruits, marshmellows 😉
On inauguration day they arranged appetizers too for their guests. Those were catered by none other that Arthurs Theme.
Chilly Mushroom and Cottage cheese, corn fried mushroom, Cheese poppers with dip.
Veg sandwitch, coffee and tea.
They have a message board there, where you can write down your experience at Menchies, can share your lovely moments at Menchie’s.
We loved everything there. Would love to go again and again.
